    Mr. Block

Is there a limit to how much of capital gain can be offset against a carryover loss IN A YEAR if the asset classes are the same, meaning equity gain [selling stock options] against a carry over loss in selling equities in the market?

    Appreciate your insight.

    Thanks
    Uday
